The single change that transforms how the A90 looks head-on. Real carbon fibre on the face, clear coated and ready to fit — this is the part that tells everyone the car has been built rather than bought.

• Free — collect in person. Bring a vehicle that can carry a full-size hood flat and we'll help you load it.

Hoods travel by dedicated courier, not standard parcel service. A panel this size needs handling that a normal delivery van won't give it, and that's what the rate covers.

Payment — prepay or collect

Hoods are prepay or pickup only. We do not offer cash on delivery on hoods. A full-size panel on a dedicated courier costs us the same whether it is accepted or refused at the door, so we ask for payment before it leaves us. Pay by card at checkout, send a bank transfer, or choose Customer Pickup and pay in person when you collect. Cash on delivery remains available on our smaller parts.

How this hood is made

• Face side: real carbon fibre, wet lay-up, exposed weave under clear coat
• Back side: fibreglass
• Replaces the factory hood
• No painting required

Suppliers call this construction half carbon, and we would rather you knew exactly what that means before you order than after. The weave you can see is genuine carbon fibre — not a film, not a print, not a wrap. The panel behind it is fibreglass, and the underside is not finished carbon.

Wet lay-up is the standard method for aftermarket panels this size, and it is what almost everything sold as a carbon hood actually is. It is not dry carbon — that is a different process with a tighter, deeper weave, and we say so specifically on the few parts where we use it. Want to see the underside of the one we have in stock? An honest note on weight

Your factory A90 hood is aluminium, not steel — and this is a carbon face on a fibreglass panel, not full carbon. Put those two facts together and a weight saving is not something we are going to promise you. We haven't put ours on scales and we won't quote a figure we haven't measured. Buy this for how it looks. That part we can promise.
